Dear Friends,
I welcome you to the Holy Land Christian Society’s (HLCS)
website. The purpose of this site is to offer objective, accurate
and qualitative information about the plight and security
of Christians, who represent the living stones in the Holy
Land. In addition, we hope that you will become familiar with
the mission and work of our organization.
The Christian narrative in the Holy Land is deteriorating
in the Occupied Palestinian Territories. Currently, the Holy
Land’s living stones comprise approximately two percent of
the population. The continued emigration of Palestinian Christians
as a result of the ongoing political and economic instability
is having a negative impact on their presence in the land
where Jesus was born, crucified and resurrected. Should this
trend continue, an important spiritual destination, shared
by billions throughout the world will become nothing more
than a museum, as the living stones that represent the Christian
presence in the Holy Land cease to exist.
It is our hope that through the establishment of two states,
Israel and Palestine, living side by side in peace and security,
an environment will be achieved that protects the pluralist
nature of the Holy Land, and allows minorities to thrive,
including the indigenous Christian community. The dominant
theme of HLCS and its work is that a comprehensive Middle
East peace process is the surest way to address the concerns
and plight of the Christian community in the Holy Land. Until
this goal is achieved, our organization will work to raise
awareness about the situation, advocate for peace and help
support the Christian community living in the Holy Land. I

of our organization.
